Following last year’s very successful run, here it is, the long-awaited second running of the annual Festival Flyer, our Steam Train Dining Experience.

On Saturday the 30th September we are presenting you with a unique opportunity for all City West Freemasons, their family and friends.

Come aboard the Festival Flyer23 with our Provincial Grand Master, Robert and his wife Fiona, on the East Lancashire Railway.

You will be able to marvel at the beautiful Lancashire countryside through sunset as we steam up the valley and dine on fine cuisine by the light of the full moon.

This discounted offer of a meal onboard a Steam Train with the East Lancashire Railway is the same type of trip which they normally offer to the Public. The Menu chosen is from the same list of excellent food provided by “Dining with Distinction” and it is only the price which has been lowered not the standard of service. The ELR are offering this by donating their own time and benefits to our East Lancashire Masonic 2026 Festival and to ensure we have a lot of fun as well.

The Menu on the Flyer will be themed this year to remember those early dinner parties with dishes popular in past times and is detailed on the attached Confirmation Booking Form. Please choose an alternative to any course that does not suit, by ticking the appropriate box.

All those who were on the trip last year have been given priority boarding privileges, so this year there will be fewer seats to fill, please book early to avoid disappointment.
