On 20 April 2026, Bro Gareth Whitcombe and Bro Iliad Piratesh, of Lodge of Hope 54, took their next step in their journey of ancient freemasonry.

Tudor Chapter 277, some 174 years young, met at Rochdale Masonic Hall for their regular April meeting. The convocation started in due form and EComp Rhodes, their proposer, was invited to work the ceremony by the ME, EComp Mellor. The 2 new exhales proved themselves Master Masons and we admitted into the chapter. The ceremony was an excellent example of the lovely ritual which the Royal Arch is know for.

The exhaltees, guided by our Principal Sojourner, found the genuine secrets that had previously been lost by the master builder.

The ,meeting was concluded with a very friendly social board.
