A momentous occasion in the life of East Lancashire Royal Arch Masonry is fast approaching, and all Companions are warmly invited to be a part of it.

The Chapter of Hope No.54 has been repurposed as a University Chapter and has now moved to Bolton Masonic Hall. To celebrate this exciting new chapter in its journey, there will be a very special meeting on Wednesday, 3rd September 2025, at 6.30pm at Bolton Masonic Hall.

This will be no ordinary meeting. The Chapter will be formally rededicated in its new format as part of the Supreme Grand Chapter’s Universities Scheme, a vital initiative to engage and support younger Companions entering Royal Arch Masonry.

To mark the significance of the occasion, the Most Excellent Grand Superintendent, the Deputy Grand Superintendent, and a full Provincial Deputation will be in attendance. We are also honoured to welcome two esteemed guests from Supreme Grand Chapter:

EComp Matt Hampson, Chairman of the Committee of General Purposes

EComp Stephen Wyer, Chairman of the Universities Scheme

Their presence will underline the importance of this rededication and the wider commitment of Supreme Grand Chapter to the future of Freemasonry.

Support Encouraged
With the summer recess now upon us and fewer opportunities to promote the event face-to-face, we encourage Companions across the Province — especially those involved with the East Lancashire Level Club, University Scheme, and Royal Arch mentoring — to support this event and share the details widely.

This event celebrates a significant step forward in the continued growth of Royal Arch Masonry in East Lancashire, building on strong foundations to engage and inspire the next generation of Companions
