On Tuesday 29th April, St John’s Chapter No.348 was the setting for a memorable and heartfelt celebration, as EComp John Whitfield marked his Golden Jubilee in the Royal Arch.

The ceremony was expertly led by EComp Stephen Holland, Assistant to the Provincial Grand Principals for the Western Area, who was accompanied by a distinguished Provincial deputation. The chapter room was filled with companions eager to pay tribute to EComp Whitfield’s remarkable achievement, and the occasion was both joyous and reflective.

A moving tribute was delivered by EComp Bill Spiby, who spoke with warmth and admiration about John’s years of service, dedication, and contributions to the Royal Arch. EComp Spiby’s words captured the essence of John’s commitment, and the companions in attendance were visibly moved by the personal nature of the tribute.

The evening continued with a festive and celebratory social board, where EComp John Yates raised a heartfelt toast to EComp Whitfield. His words of praise and gratitude for John’s remarkable journey in Freemasonry resonated with all present, creating a perfect conclusion to an evening that celebrated a life dedicated to the principles of the Craft and Royal Arch.

Congratulations to EComp Whitfield on his Golden Jubilee, and we look forward to seeing his continued contributions to the Royal Arch for many years to come.
