0n Monday 21st November a Joint Convocation was hosted by Tudor Chapter No. 277 at Richard Street, Rochdale. Almost 90 companions witnessed a superb evening. The First Principal EComp Kenneth Greer, opened the chapter in due form and carried out the normal business of the Chapter after which the MEGSupt Sir David Trippier together with a Provincial Deputation were admitted. On entering the Chapter Sir David accepted the First Principal’s chair and received warm salutations. He gave thanks, said how pleased he was to see so many Companions present and introduced the Provincial Deputation.
EComp Len Hayes APGP thanked the Most Excellent for attending, briefly referred to the Presentation arranged for the evening and introduced the Rochdale District RADO EComp Aubrey Oldham who explained that 13 Companions would each give a short presentation to shed light on some things taken for granted in the Royal Arch. The questions posed and answered in presentation were:-

9 THE ARK OF THE COVENANT
10 WHO WAS KING SOLOMON?
11 WHO WAS JEHOAKIN?
12 WHO WAS HAGGAI?
13 THE WISE BODYGUARD
On completion of the presentation Sir David Trippier gave sincere thanks to EComp Oldham and the presentation team, all of whom then received well deserved applause.
EComp Oldham paid tribute to EComp John Cavanagh who had produced and written the script and finally he thanked the Companions of Tudor Chapter for hosting the event.
EComp Kenneth Greer then presented Sir David with a cheque on behalf of Tudor Chapter in the sum of £500 donated to ELMC.
After the Chapter was closed 80 Plus Companions, enjoyed good food and a lively evening of fellowship.
