The Sacred Pedestal

Short version of the explanation of the Royal Arch Jewel

Royal Arch No 3 – The Sacred Pedestal

5 minutes
The Lecture is an account of the Sacred Pedestal as found in the vault by the Principal Sojourner. It is a superior explanation of the Circle, of the Triangle, the engraven Characters and of the Sacred Word than that given by him during the Ceremony of Exaltation, and would be an ideal lecture included at a subsequent meeting.
The Lecture lasts approximately 6 minutes and can be divided into smaller segments for up to 5 presenters.

Adding Drama to the ceremony of Exaltation

6 minutes
Some find the ceremony of exaltation a little one dimensional and even dull when compared to other masonic ritual. EComp Peter Mason the Deputy Grand Superintendent in Cumberland and Westmorland, has addressed this issue by adding “stage directions” to that part of the Ceremony where the Sojourners return to the Chapter to report on their discoveries. It has been used by a number of Chapters, often with their own additions and is recommended for use by all Chapters.
