Over 120 Burnley and Pendle Freemasons, their families and friends, along with TEAM RISE members and volunteers, filled to capacity the multi-award-winning USHA Restaurant in Burnley on Monday 1st July 2019.
This was the second of these events which raises funds for TEAM RISE, a Burnley based group and the East Lancashire Masonic Charity.
Team Rise is a Community Interest Company based in Burnley that offers a safe and accessible environment to learning disabled and disadvantaged individuals. The objective is to give individuals the opportunity to develop, socialise and explore their ideas and goals through a wide variety of educational, social and practical activities.
The East Lancashire Masonic Charity is here to care for and to afford charitable assistance to Freemasons, their Widows or to any of their dependent relatives and to reach out to others in the communities in which we live who are deserving of our charitable support’
With the Deputy Provincial Grand Master, John Farrington, in attendance and supported by members of the Burnley and Pendle District Team, the event raised £1200-00 which will be split equally between TEAM RISE and the East Lancashire Masonic Charity.
Massive thanks to the Directors of BASS Construction Ltd. who sponsored the event with a very generous donation and to Mr Sadar Uddin and his fantastic team at the USHA Restaurant.

There’s always a raffle!!!!!
