On the 7th December, the Lodge of Naphtali 266 welcomed WBro Michael Church-Taylor PAGReg along with The Strathardle Lodge 1507 and visiting Brethren for the Festival of St John and the PROCLAMATION of WBro Robert Ian Clarke PProvGSwdB as WORSHIPFUL MASTER.

The Strathardle Lodge was set up in the 1950’s mainly for the Farmers in the area, they have only got one Farmer left in the lodge. They meet in a little village hall in a place called Kirkmichael, which is in one of the Glens North of Blairgowrie, Perthshire.

Bro Brian Capewell is presently Treasurer of the lodge. His son WBro Alexs Capewell and Brother in Law WBro Andrij Korolczuk are passed masters of NAPHTALI 266. A few years ago, Alexs was given the job of carrying a new banner at its dedication and invited Bro Brian Capewell and some of the lodge members down from Scotland.  Whilst down in Rochdale they invited members of Naphtali to Strathardle Lodge for their installations, since then in alternate years we take the trip to one- another’s lodges.
