The Lodge of Faith 581 have supported several Food Banks in the past and have now continued to do so by adding another. When WBro. Eric Evanson, the Worshipful Master, was near the completion of his year, the Charity Steward passed the customary allowance of £100 to the Master’s wife to donate to the charity of her choice.

Having given much thought, Helen, the Master’s wife, decided to continue this support by selecting St. Mary’s Church Haughton Green Food Bank. She also decided she could help more by purchasing a further £50 of groceries, making the total donation to the Food Bank up to £150 to help improve the quality of life for so many.

This donation was received by Margaret, who works at the food bank, who thanked her for her most welcome support.
