Tonight the Worshipful Master and Brethren of Rochdale District Installed Masters Lodge 9211 welcomed the Eastern Area Team to their October meeting.
During the meeting the brethren were delighted to hear a talk from our very own Eastern Area Chairman, WBro Dr Andrew Halford PProvGSwdB. In the talk Andy share us his younger years, his close relationship with his brother and father, and how he was initiated into freemasonry in a double ceremony with his brother. He also shared his masonic career progressing from an entered apprentice to both Craft and Royal Arch Provincial Steward and on to Eastern Area Chairman.
The talk was well received and an excellent insight into the history of our chairman.
We retired to the social board for an excellent meal and fraternal friendship. The night was ended with an invite from WBro Graham Newton PProvDepGDC to the installed masters of the ‘old’ Oldham District masters to become joining members of the lodge.
