Tis the Season to be Jolly and the children at the Salford District’s Christmas Party were certainly in a jolly and playful mood on Saturday 19th December. Organised by WBros John Roberts, Norman Alexander and ably assisted by WBro. Mike Pennington on sleigh parking duty; a great afternoon was had by the children. Thanks must also go to Trisha and the hall staff for all their support and who had the task of cleaning up after the reindeer had left.

With plenty of party games and with the disco by Ady nearly 40 children were entertained whilst waiting for Father Christmas to arrive. After eating and traditional Christmas carols the children gathered to greet Father Christmas, with the sound of his sleigh bells announcing his arrival.
The children were then taken to meet Father Christmas. With the help of some new elves specially drafted in this year all the children received a gift, some not quite sure if it was the real Santa, or one of his elves….
