On a sunny day at the end of June WBro David Gill, East Ribble’s Assistant District Charity Steward accompanied by WBro Mike Stubbs (behind the camera), presented a cheque to Denise Gee and Jennifer Quinn from East Lancashire Hospice in Blackburn.
The cheque for £350 was for the on going support by East Ribble District to restock the Hospice’s drinks trolley.
With Denise Gee moving on to pastures new this was the last time that she would be receiving the cheque on behalf of the Hospice. WBro Mike Stubbs commented “How much he had enjoyed working with Denise over the past few years and wished her good luck in her new role”.
