Following on from the ELLC Breakfast at Bacup, Saturday 28 March 2026 was a big day for the Eastern Area. Firstly 2 very big thank yous. To the 100+  ladies, gentlemen and brethren that bought tickets and made the night a roaring success. Also a further thank you to The Jersey Coasters who performed an amazing show music of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, as well as hits from the Jersey Boys musical.

The night, organised by the Eastern Area Social Committee, was the final large event dedicated to the East Lancashire Festival 2026. The night started with a buffet provided by the hall before the first set of The Jersey Coasters. During the interval a raffle was conducted and there were many prizes donated and many very thankful winners.

A total of £1,435 was raised, however, our Area Charity Steward WBro Russ Perks promised to round up the total if our APGM WBro John Curry got up and had a boogie. Not one to disappoint John rose to the challenge and a whopping £1,500 was donated to the festival.
