Members of the Eastern Area of the Province of East Lancashire Freemasons generously gave their time today to support the Springhill Hospice Summer Garden Celebrations. This helped to ensure the event ran smoothly for the many hundreds of visitors who attended throughout the day.

Volunteers from across the Eastern Area took on the important responsibility of marshalling the event’s parking facilities, welcoming visitors on arrival and directing vehicles safely and efficiently. Their friendly approach and dedication helped create a positive first impression for guests, allowing families and supporters to enjoy the celebrations from the moment they arrived.
The Summer Garden Celebrations is one of Springhill Hospice’s much-loved community events. It brings together local people for a day of entertainment, refreshments, and fundraising in beautiful surroundings. Every donation made and activity enjoyed contributes towards the hospice’s vital work, providing compassionate care and support to patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families.

Freemasonry has a long tradition of supporting local charities and community organisations. The Eastern Area volunteers were proud to play their part in helping such an important event succeed.
