On 12 February 2026 the Eastern Area Team and several visitor attended Lodge of Probity & Freedom 367 for the raising of Bro Christopher Binns.

With a very warm welcome from the lodge it was opened in due form and WM Bro Robert Jackson invited WBro John Binns into the chair of King Solomon to work the 3rd degree ceremony. This was a very special occasion and it is not often a father gets to raise his son.

WBro Binns worked the ceremony in what was described as a masterclass of ritual. Christopher answered his questions perfectly and the officers of the lodge assisted WBro Binns to raise his son to the sublime degree of a Master Mason.
