On Friday 8th May, the brethren of New Trinity Lodge No.4595 were joined by officers of the Western Area at Bolton Masonic Hall to celebrate a special achievement of one of their own.

The evening recognised the recent appointment of lodge member and Western Area Chairman, Martin Horan, to the rank of Past Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies in the United Grand Lodge of England.

Brethren gathered to congratulate Martin on this well-deserved honour, which reflects his dedication and service to Freemasonry over many years. The occasion provided an opportunity for friends from across the Area to come together and mark the achievement in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.

The social board was made all the more special by the attendance of Martin’s family, who joined in celebrating this significant milestone. They were joined by the families of several other lodge members, creating a warm and inclusive occasion that reflected the strong bonds of friendship and support that exist both within the Lodge and the wider Masonic family. During the celebrations, John Gannon delivered a heartfelt tribute to Martin, recognising his friendship, dedication, and service to Freemasonry.

Congratulations once again to Martin on his appointment, which was warmly celebrated by all in attendance.
