During his year as Worshipful Master of Pilkington Lodge No.6522, WBro Satnam Sangha chose to support Bury Hospice as his charity for the year. Through a series of lodge and social events, including the annual Ladies Evening, a summer BBQ, raffles, and collections at meetings, members and guests raised an impressive total for this valued local cause.

In addition to the donation to Bury Hospice, the Lodge also contributed £100 to five other charities, reflecting the continued commitment of members to supporting good causes both locally and beyond. A further £1,000 was also donated to the 2026 Festival.

It was a year that perfectly captured the spirit of Freemasonry — fellowship, generosity, and a genuine desire to make a difference within our community.
