WBro Ian Johnson, the East Ribble Assistant District Charity Steward, recently presented a cheque to the Lancashire Womens Centre in the Accrington, on behalf of the East Lancashire Masonic Charity for the sum of £2636
The Centre provides a safe, non-judgemental and professional environment, which is female only between the hours of 10am – 3pm. Whatever their needs, women can drop-in or telephone during the opening times to speak to a member of the team.
The money will be used to facilitate a well needed kitchen refurbishment. This will allow for hot food to be prepared and distributed.
