On Wednesday 13th May, the Bury Lodge Of Relief No.42 held a special meeting under dispensation to conduct a Double Passing Ceremony.

The evening saw Bro Gary Blackburn and Bro Billy Towers passed to the Second Degree, marking the next step in their Masonic journeys. Both candidates demonstrated an excellent understanding of their previous degree, responding confidently and impressively to the usual questions before being entrusted with the secrets of the Fellow Craft.

The ceremony was conducted by the Worshipful Master, Eddie Fan, supported by his officers, who delivered the work to a high standard throughout the evening. Double ceremonies can present their own challenges, but the officers ensured both candidates enjoyed a memorable and meaningful experience.
