On 13th November, ELLC leadership, management and members gathered for the 2025 AGM, and what a fantastic evening it was.
We spent a wonderful evening in the excellent surroundings of Albert House, in Ashton Under Lyne, one of the Southern Area halls and Masonic home for our Deputy Chairman, Bro. Andy Robson.
ELLC Chairman, Bro. Aaron Garner, opened the meeting and read supportive and motivational messages from both the President, RW PGM Robert Frankl, and our Vice President, WBro. Paul O’Carroll APGM.
This was followed by the Chairman’s address which focused on thanks for the hard work of everyone involved in the club over the last year and a celebrating of our successes, social and learning events, presentations and community work.
Bro. Carlos Pasay gave his Treasurer’s report and then Bro. Nick Druce and Bro. Andy Robson discussed club communications before we heard from each of the Areas.
ELLC Management and Area Roles were clarified, thanks given to those that worked in office over the previous year and some Area changes announced, before Bro. Alan Nadin was unanimously voted in as the ELLC Secretary for the ensuing year.
Each Area communicated successes of the previous year and highlighted the key focus and plans for the 25/26 year. Each receiving a round of applause from those in attendance.
Throughout the evening ideas were put forward to improve the clubs offering to Light Blues of the Province and thanks were given to all in attendance, and the meeting closed with a positive note.
Following the AGM many attendees continued the evening, joining a Social Board at the invitation of the WM of Milton Lodge No.1144, WBro Peter Gichero.
A great evening of food, drink, and fellowship was had with ELLC Chairman giving a response to the visitors toast highlighting that the ELLC were extremely grateful to Milton Lodge for their hospitality.
Plans are already underway for a fantastic 25/26 year ahead for ELLC across the Province, thanks to all Officers and Members for the last year and we look forward to having members from every area involved as we build our club!
