On Wednesday 19th February, Bury Lodge of Relief No.42 welcomed Bro Michael Jaeger as its newest member.
The evening was made even more special by the presence of the Very Worshipful Deputy Provincial Grand Master and honorary member, John Griffin, who joined the Lodge to support the candidate on his first steps in Freemasonry.
The ceremony was conducted by the Lodge officers, all of whom are ‘light blue’ following their installation in January. Their efforts ensured Bro Jaeger received a warm and well-delivered introduction to the Craft.
The Worshipful Master and the ELLC Western Area Chairman, WBro Adam Cooper, also took the opportunity to hold a successful mini-recruitment drive, with all Lodge officers, our newest brother, and several visitors signing up as ELLC members.
After the meeting, the brethren enjoyed a great evening together at the social board, rounding off a fantastic night for all involved.
Congratulations to Bro Jaeger – we look forward to seeing him progress in his Freemasonry!
