On Monday 10th March, brethren gathered at Bury Masonic Hall for the annual installation meeting of the Lodge Of Merit No.934. The event brought together members and a strong turnout of visiting brethren which created a fantastic atmosphere in the lodge room and ensured a truly memorable occasion.
The lodge’s own member, WBro Mike Gibbons, acted as the representative for the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master to oversee the installation of WBro Paul Cichy for a second successive year in the Chair of King Solomon. The ceremony, which was supported by several members of the lodge, was conducted in an excellent manner.
A notable highlight of the evening was the strong support from the Bury Masters’ Circuit, with five reigning Masters in attendance to show their encouragement. Among them were Worshipful Brothers; Mike Carroll (Egerton Lodge No.1392), Chris Nealon (Knowsley Lodge No.4661), Keith Jones (Cromwell With Papyrean Lodge No.5771), Fred Blackburn (Pythagoras Lodge Of Installed Masters No.9248), and Adam Cooper (Bury Lodge Of Relief No.42). Their presence reinforced the camaraderie and unity among the Lodges in the area.
After the formal proceedings, everyone enjoyed a fantastic social board. The room buzzed with conversation, laughter, and a shared sense of celebration.
Congratulations to WBro Cichy on his installation – we wish him another fulfilling and successful year in the Chair!
