Anchor and Hope Lodge – 37

Who Are We?

Anchor and Hope is the oldest Lodge outside of London with records dating back to the lodge consecration in 1732.
Will be celebrating 300 years in 2032.

We originally met in Public Houses before moving to Bolton Masonic Hall where we are very much involved in the Masonic Hall situated on Institute Street and the extension of the building in 1928.

Why Join Us?

Kudos of belonging to the oldest lodge in the Province and being part of the 300th celebration. The lodge has records dating from 1732 which give a fantastic insight into the social history locally and nationally. You would be joining a lodge with great History and Traditions
