“we were founded on the 26th February 1926
at a time when the population was over 28,000 and only two lodges in Rawtenstall
unlike Haslingden with a population of only 17,00 but had four Lodges.
most of the Founders came from Hardman Lodge No 1948
There was such a demand at that time the Lodge in its first year held 17 meetings
Initiating 14 members 14 raisings and 12 passings.

The lodge as continued to promote the principals on which freemasonry is founded and enjoying all social aspects of Freemasonry to the benefit of all is members .
