“Felicity Lodge was founded on 22 May 1922 and meets at the premier Freemasons’ Hall in the Province, on Bridge Street in Manchester City Centre.

Perfection of ritual is still sought, but the philosophy has changed with the effort put in being viewed as more important than the perfection of the word. This is not to say that excellent ritual is not strived for, and this has been demonstrated in recent years with newer, younger members eager to deliver pieces of ritual to a very high standard.
Most of our Meetings, recently, have seen Ceremonies performed, of one description or another, and there is always a vibrant feel to our gatherings. Following the Meetings, our Social Boards are enjoyable, lively affairs, with a respectful balance maintained between enjoyment and decorum.

If you look up the word felicity in a thesaurus, you will see results such as, happiness, contentment, joy and pleasure. I don’t believe our forefathers could have chosen a more appropriate name for this, our Felicity Lodge.”
