Who Are We?

“Consecrated on the 6th of July 1977, and originally meeting at Adelaide Street,
Accrington, the Lodge was formed as a Past Masters Lodge to give Past Masters of the
old District an environment in which to enjoy a more relaxed form of Freemasonry. In
1983 the Lodge moved to its current home at Mill House, Clayton-le-Moors. The now
progressive nature of the Lodge ensures that all members and guests enjoy all
meetings and socials without exception. This proactive nature is proving successful
with a thriving and continually expending membership from across the new, much
larger, Northern Area.
Being a Past Masters Lodge , prospective members must be, or must have been the
Worshipful Master of another Lodge before applying for membership.”

Why Join Us?

“We provide a relaxed but progressive Masonic environment in which to enjoy Freemasonry, without the ritualistic pressures associated with regular Lodges. We strive to provide enjoyable, and “out of the box”, Masonic meetings where the business, either in the Lodge room or festive board room, is always inclusive, interesting and enjoyable. Non-Masonic guests are often included in our meetings. Social events are also relaxed, well supported and always enjoyable. It is a common misconception that only Past Masters can attend our meetings, when in fact any Mason can attend any of our meetings as a visitor, and many
Brother Masons do. “

WHEN WE MEET

“Meetings are on the 4th Monday in February, April, July, and Oct (installation).
Practices are only planned for the Installation, but the practice dates are fluid to suit
the membership.”

LODGE INFO

The annual Lodge committee meeting is always followed by a very well attended meal at a local restaurant. We support our Masonic Hall with a Christmas meal and summer social, and family and friends are invited to both. Charitable donations are always given at our Installation meeting in October. Many members get involved in volunteering opportunities for local charities and good causes.
