Who Are We?
Our Lodge is a very old lodge, now well over 200 years old. It is steeped in tradition and well respected by other lodges. We operate ritual based on our past, but modified over the years to what it is now. There are several elements of our ceremonies (e.g. Installations) which are unique to this Lodge. We would like to think that we are a very welcoming lodge, which is verified by comments from our visitors who leave at the end of the evening having had a thoroughly enjoyable time where they have been made very welcome.
Several of our senior members are very knowledgeable and will be very keen to pass on their masonic expertise to those who wish to know more.
We are a friendly group of freemasons who have a balance between fun and serious ritual, with enjoyment being the bottom line. New members will always be made very welcome.
Why Join Us?
We are a friendly Lodge always on the look out for new members. Our aim is to make the meetings enjoyable, and based on a traditional ceremony. Following each meeting we have a more informal Social Board with meal and opportunity for members to talk with each other and have an enjoyable evening. Progress through the Lodge is based on the individuals wishes and needs of the Lodge. More information can be obtained by contacting the Lodge Secretary. There is an opportunity each month to take part in an Instruction Lodge, where several members meet to learn more about the ceremonies and rituals involved in our monthly meetings. There is a wealth of experience held by members which can be sought as required. No one is looked down on, and we always remember ‘we’ve been there ourselves’.
It is a great lodge to gain valuable insight and valuable masonic knowledge.

There is also a strong network being built where a group of members regularly visit other lodges and we welcome many guests from other lodges at our meetings.
