WHEN WE MEET
Our Lodge typically meets on the third Thursday of each month from October to May, providing a structured and consistent schedule for our members:
- Regular Meetings: Experience the rich tradition of our Lodge meetings, starting promptly at 6:15pm.
- Installation Meeting: In January, we celebrate the installation of our new officers with a special meeting held on the Saturday following the third Thursday
- Dedicated Practice Sessions: We value preparation and offer two practice sessions each month during our meeting season.
- Junior Practice: Our first Wednesday focuses on welcoming newer members and helping them feel comfortable within the Lodge.
- Meeting Preparation: The second Wednesday is dedicated to refining our rituals and ensuring a smooth and meaningful meeting experience.
We take a well-deserved summer break from June to September, allowing our members to recharge and enjoy the warmer months.
LODGE INFO
At our core, we are a family friendly social Lodge that values camaraderie and community. Throughout the year, we host a variety of engaging events for members and their families:
- Installation Dinner & Ladies’ Dinner: Our year begins with a celebratory Installation Dinner, following our Lodge Meeting. At the same time our Ladies usually meet, at a different venue.
- May Social: Get ready to dance the night away at our vibrant May Social, a fun-filled evening for members and their partners with live entertainment.
- Summer Garden Party: Enjoy the warm summer months with a relaxing Garden Party, a perfect opportunity to unwind and socialize with fellow members amidst a festive atmosphere.
- Old English Evening: We celebrate our rich Lancashire heritage with an authentic Old English Evening. We welcome guests to join us for this special experience.
- Christmas Ladies’ Evening: Conclude the year with a special Christmas Ladies’ Evening, a heartfelt thank you to our partners for their unwavering support throughout the Master’s year.
- Throughout the year there are several smaller events such as Curry Nights and Pub visits.
Beyond our social events, we are committed to supporting our community through charitable endeavours. Each year, we select a diverse range of local and national charities to support, ensuring our contributions make a meaningful impact. We believe in making a positive impact both within and beyond our Lodge.
