Who Are We?

Maritime Lodge No.3025, was consecrated at Ordsall Hall, Salford, on Thursday 16th June 1904,
The first Lodge meeting after the consecration was held at the Salisbury Hotel on Thursday July 14th 1904, being Tyled at 5.35pm.
In October 12th 1911 the meeting place was at Ordsall Hall instead of the Salisbury Hotel, and dispensation had also been obtained for the next three meetings to likewise be held in the Ordsall Hall. During the 1939-1945 war Ordsall Hall had been severely damaged by enemy aircraft, and by special dispensation of Provincial Grand Lodge, dated 15th February 1945, the next meeting of the Maritime Lodge was held on Saturday 24th March 1945 at the Masonic Hall, 41, Crescent, Salford.
Our Lodge, we are pleased to state, had maintained its strength and, in 1951, our Daughter Lodge, the Kersal Lodge, No. 7043, was formed.
In addition, Maritime Lodge was, as its name implies, to afford a meeting place in the port of Manchester, adjacent to the docks, for any Masonic seafaring Brethren.
During our last 120 years we have hosted some special meetings
And many brethren of the Lodge have celebrated over 50 years in Masonry.

Why Join Us?
