Pendle Lodge – 4703

Who Are We?

Pendle Lodge was formed in 1925 and first met at the Lord Nelson Hotel in Nelson for the first 22 years of its existence. In 1947 we moved to an existing Methodist Chapel that had been converted into a Masonic Hall on Bradshaw St In Nelson where we remained until 2013 when we moved again to Colne Masonic Hall where we have been ever since.

LODGE INFO

From a social point of view that also includes our wives, partners and friends, we hold various events throughout the year including dining out at local restaurants or putting on events at the Masonic hall often in conjunction with the other 4 lodges who also meet there. We recently held a crown green bowling event and in the coming year, in which we shall be celebrating 100 years of continuous freemasonry, we are planning more events such as a canal cruise, brewery visit etc, etc. We support many local charities with one of the main ones being Pendleside Hospice.
