Queen’s Jubilee Lodge – 2193

Who Are We?

We are a Lodge which was formed in Nelson, in the year of Queen Victoria’s Silver Jubilee, 1887. Some years ago we moved to the Masonic Hall in Albert Road, Colne. We are a small but friendly lodge, with around 20 members from all walks of life, young and older, both working and retired.

Why Join Us?

By joining us you will find you are welcomed into an organisation where you quickly make many new friends, and possibly some you already know! We have a meal after lodge meetings, which, whilst not compulsory, is a great opportunity to sit and have a chat and a laugh with other members of the lodge and visitors from other lodges.

WHEN WE MEET

We meet 5 times a year, on the first Tuesday in February, April, May,October and December. Our Lodge practice nights are also held on Tuesday evenings prior to the lodge.

LODGE INFO

We hold Ladies Nights, where the family and friends of members are invited to join us and have a meal and enjoy a fun, formal social event. The Worshipful Master for the year is usually the host, and selects the venue.
Members also volunteer to help at events to support local charities, such as Pendleside Hospice, and our own Masonic Charities. The lodge also takes part in social events organised by other lodges, such as bowling matches and quiz nights.
