Who Are We?

Vigilance lodge no. 4952 is a small and friendly lodge with the majority of its members residing in the suburbs to the East of Manchester. Vigilance lodge’s meetings are held in the magnificent Manchester Hall on Bridge Street, Manchester with practices and social events held in various locations in Tameside.

Why Join Us?

Vigilance’s lodge members are not just Brethren but good friends.
With its 100th anniversary fast approaching (in 2027), the lodge is looking forward to strengthening its membership ready for a particularly special ceremony in the near future.
As with all lodges, charity is at the forefront of Vigilance’s values, both from a monetary perspective and the aspect of personal charitable engagement.
What makes the lodge special is its inclusivity and its focus on forming binding friendships amongst all its members. As well as keeping members engaged, usually enjoying full attendance at every meeting, monthly visits are arranged to other lodges.

WHEN WE MEET

Vigilance lodge meets on the first Tuesday in October, December, February and April with socials taking place late in May, July and September.

LODGE INFO

The lodge also has a long history of holding a number of very enjoyable, charity based social events throughout the year, which includes its ever successful and well attended Ladies Evenings. The latter attracts plentiful support and uniquely, are always enriched by a pianist, vocal serenader and live band.
