On a chilly, but bright and sunny Sunday last week, twelve volunteers from East Ribble District (including one regular visitor from Rochdale district who came along) helped set up, marshal and pack away the East Lancs. Hospice Christmas Fayre.
This year the Fayre was held in a Marquee in the grounds of the Hospice and all afternoon a steady stream of visitors came and went, clutching bags of goodies and wearing beaming smiles.
Father Christmas was in attendance at the event, much to the delight of the children present
A great day was had by all and the Fayre raised a massive £5,316.09!
Thanks to David Bedford for setting up the tables which were supplied by Blackburn Masonic Hall, and to all who helped at this fantastic event.
A big thank you to all who volunteered, many of whom have done so for many years now in support of this great cause.
