On December 4, 2024, lodges from the Eastern and Southern Areas gathered to honor Brother Ike D’Cruz with a passing ceremony.

Ike’s mother lodge, Denton Lodge 5234, has several candidates waiting to be initiated, so Werneth Lodge 6163 stepped in to conduct the ceremony.

Brother Ike handled the ceremony with grace and answered all the questions posed to him with great clarity. The lodge officers then performed a truly memorable passing ceremony that Ike will cherish for years to come.

The social board that followed was a lively and enjoyable affair, bringing smiles to the brethren’s faces. Definitely a lodge worth visiting.
