On Wednesday 16th April, Bury Lodge of Relief No.42 held a memorable ceremony as Bro Gregg Bridge was raised to the sublime degree of a Master Mason.

The ceremony was conducted by the Worshipful Master, Officers, and members of the Lodge, with over 50 Brethren in attendance. Their efforts ensured Bro Bridge was raised with precision and care, reflecting the close-knit spirit of the Lodge.

A unique feature of the evening was the Lodge’s “Contraption,” an impressive piece of furniture that features a canopy and zodiac above the Master’s chair. This spectacular creation, which has become a distinctive element of Bury Lodge of Relief, made the ceremony even more remarkable, providing a striking visual during the proceedings.

After the meeting, the brethren enjoyed a great evening together at the social board, rounding off a fantastic night for all involved.

Congratulations to Bro Bridge – we look forward to watching his continued progress in Freemasonry!
