A Timeline Drama at Rochdale.

Rochdale & District Lodge of Installed Masters were last night treated to a feast of Masonic history when a team of players from the St Helens & Prescot Group (West Lancs) enacted some of the more important events leading up to the formation of a United Grand Lodge in 1813.

The story commenced in 1646 when 8 performers all in period costume each portrayed a well-known character such as Elias Ashmole, James Anderson, Lawrence McDermott and others. In doing so, the private lives of these characters were exposed often revealing little known facts about them. At the end, the team was treated to a well-deserved standing ovation.
The Timeline, originated by W Bro. Frank Davies lasts 55 minutes and has been seen by 1500 ladies & brethren and has raised £4600 towards the West Lancs 2021 Festival.
