St Johns Lodge No. 325 invites Brethren and guests to a special evening exploring the developing relationship between Scouting and Freemasonry.
The Lodge will welcome Tony Harvey PJGD, who will deliver a presentation looking at the journey “after the Prestonian” and the growing links between our two organisations. His presentation will explore how Scouting and Freemasonry share much more than parallel histories, including common values of community, integrity, respect, service and friendship.
St Johns 325 is an established Lodge with a new and distinctive Scout-themed approach. The Lodge is developing its identity and workings to provide a welcoming home for current and former Scout Leaders and adult members of the Scouting movement who are Freemasons, while maintaining a strong focus on supporting young people and the wider community.
Although Scouting provides the central theme, the Lodge is keen to welcome those involved with all youth organisations, as well as any Brethren interested in learning more about this exciting development.
This promises to be a fascinating evening and an opportunity to discover how Freemasonry and Scouting can work together in support of their shared values and communities.
All Brethren are warmly invited to attend.
