On Sunday 8th December over 100 Tameside district masons and their families met at St Peters church for its annual masonic carol service. It was led by Rev Roger Farnworth. The reading was read by John Cavanagh, Peter Gichero, Les Kay and Mark Reader.

Carols were sung, followed by a soloist, Peter Lee, who entertained us with two fairly modern carols.
To finish the afternoon, over 70 people traveled to the Broadoak Hotel for their annual after service meal; a wonderful start to the festive season.
The APGM, John Pearson, finished the evening by wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
