This month, members of the Earl Of Lathom Lodge No.2560 once again came together for their annual Summer BBQ, enjoying an afternoon of friendship, good food, and excellent company. They were also joined by a number of members of Egerton Lodge 1392.

The ever-popular event provided a relaxed opportunity for brethren, families, and friends to meet outside the Lodge room, with a fantastic barbecue and a welcoming atmosphere throughout the day. Events such as these continue to strengthen the bonds of friendship that are at the heart of Freemasonry, bringing people together in an informal setting to enjoy each other’s company.

A charity raffle formed part of the afternoon’s activities as well as a tug of war competition that generated much fun and laughter.

The annual Summer BBQ remains a much-anticipated fixture in the Lodge calendar and was once again a wonderful example of the fellowship, community spirit, and charitable values that continue to thrive within the Earl Of Lathom Lodge.

A special mention should be given to George Johnson MBE for the work he does in helping to organise the BBQ and other charitable events in the Lodge.
