On a cold January morning, a warm gesture of kindness made a significant difference to those in need. Representing Manchester Masons, City West Area Charity Steward Eric Baker visited Salford Food Bank to present a donation of £1,385. The funds, generously contributed by brethren across Salford and Manchester, were gratefully received by Charity Manager Clare and Warehouse Manager Mervin.

The food bank, situated on Kansas Avenue in Media City, plays a vital role in the community, ensuring that families and individuals facing hardship have access to essential food supplies. With the growing demand for support, the food bank requires approximately £1,400 per week to continue its invaluable work. Donations like these from Manchester Masons provide crucial assistance in sustaining their mission.

Freemasonry has always been rooted in the principles of charity and community service. This latest contribution is a testament to the unwavering dedication of Manchester Masons in aiding those less fortunate. This generosity not only provides immediate relief but also strengthens the spirit of compassion within the local community.
