  • On a typically rainy Summer Sunday afternoon, many Brethren, families and friends gathered at the Swan and Royal in Clitheroe to enjoy great fellowship and a superb Sunday lunch all whilst keeping their fingers crossed in the hope of winning the first prize in the Summer Draw. Following the meal, WBro Mike Stubbs the District Charity Steward accompanied by his assistant WBro Malcolm Roe thanked everyone for their company and for the Lodges in selling all the tickets. Mike then called on WBro Dave McGurty the District Chairman to make the draw. The first prize of £150 was won by the Old Blackburnian Lodge and the second prize by WBro Eric Bullock a past Charity Steward. The full list of winners can be seen by Clicking Here
Following the draw, Mike Stubbs drew the afternoon to a close by a closing thanks for the donation of the 31 prizes and the announcement that the raffle had raised the amazing sum of £1710
