Recognising the pressures that are currently being put on local Foodbanks, pressure that is going to significantly increase in the coming weeks and months, the District Charity Steward Malcolm Roe, with agreement from the Charity Stewards committee, contacted the Foodbank/food share organisations in the middle of March, to offer our support and financial assistance. Consequently the following organisations will be receiving £200 donation each:

  • Darwen Food Share
  • Blackburn Foodbank
  • Ribble Valley Foodbank
  • Accrington Christians Together
  • ‘Our Food Bank’ – Clayton Le Moors

All are sincerely grateful for our support and wish to express that appreciation to the Brethren and Companions of our District.
