Cracking Good Food are a small social enterprise based in Stockport, they work to alleviate hunger and increase food security in Greater Manchester to help many disadvantaged families in the area with free kitchen equipment.

Last year members of Manchester Level Club (a Team created from junior brethren) helped Cracking Good Food to move 1.5 tons of kitchen equipment, that they had collected from the Kitchen Kit Call Out, across Manchester to their redistribution event held at University Academy 92 (UA92).

This year, the Manchester Level Club (MLC) is helping again. The front line, Bro Aaron Garner (MLC Chairman) and Hiten Patel (Past MLC Chairman) began the first collection run to businesses across Greater Manchester to start collecting kitchen equipment ready for redistribution in June to charity organizations and families in need.

Once the collection is completed and cleaned the MLC volunteers will prepare everything for the transfer to the redistribution event, to be held once again at UA92.

The team at “Cracking Good Food” are very small and rely on volunteers to help them at every stage, which is why we wanted to help. The team welcomes all the help they can get. For info or to get involved, contact the Manchester Level Club, Bro Aaron Garner, Chairman of the MLC aaron@eiagroup.co.uk, Bro Francesco Toto, Deputy Chairman – f.toto@hotmail.it, and one of the members will be in touch with you.

A small step for many, a huge help for the one in need, step by step, together this is how Freemasonry works, in its Brotherhood environment.
