District Chairman WBro David Lightbown PAGDC took great pleasure in presenting his now former District Secretary, WBro Bob Allan PProvGSuptWks, with a decanter as a token of recognition and thanks for over six years in this role. The presentation took place at Verity Lodge No.3949 on Saturday the 26th of November.
Bob’s service stretches back over eight years to where he first served as Secretary to the former Accrington District Charity Stewards, then District Secretary, leading on to be the first Secretary of the newly created East Ribble District in 2011.
Bob was recently promoted to Deputy Chairman of the Burnley & Pendle District, and he now goes with the grateful thanks and very best wishes from all of his many friends in East Ribble.
