Wood Street Mission, a charity supported by Manchester Masons, recently received another donation from the Masonic Community.
Michael Goodman, WM of Rivington Lodge in West Lancashire, presented Sophie Bell of Wood Street Mission with a cheque for £250. The gift was kindly donated by Yvonne Goodman, wife of Michael Goodman, in lieu of a ladies evening gift at their recent ladies evening. On hearing that Mrs Goodman wished to donate her gift to a Manchester charity, the members of the lodge topped up the gift to make it £250.
Mrs Goodman particularly wanted to support a charity that helps families in Manchester.
Michael Goodman said, “the members of his West Lancashire Lodge were particularly taken by assisting a charity that had been supported by Manchester Masons in East Lancashire”.
