On Saturday 8th July Rochdale District Chairman, Peter Rhodes, together with Bernard Percy and Mike Royds from the Rochdale Masonic Social Committee, attended the final of the Hanson Springs sponsored Rochdale Observer Junior Bowls Competition, at Whitworth Football and Cricket Club.
The purpose of the visit was to present a cheque for £250 to the Rochdale Junior Bowls League to assist with travelling expenses to Inter County Competitions so that the League can provide free transport for all the participants.
