On Tuesday 8th April, Johnny’s Golden Gavel was presented to the 1st Principal, John Kershaw of Benevolence Chapter No 226 for their £100 donation to ProvGCharityStwd John Taylor’s Fundraiser to cycle an incredible 2,026 miles on his Wattbike to raise money for the EL Festival 2026!

In addition to personal donations, Lodges and Chapters wanted to support the fundraiser which is equally brilliant and so he created “Johnny’s Golden Gavel” in which any Lodge or Chapter donating a minimum of £100 will be able to use the Gavel in one of their meetings and will receive a certificate thanking them for their support!
