Kindred Lodges Association
There will be an open meeting at Hemsley House on October 21st at 7.30pm.for all those who are interested in joining a lodge with a difference. This will be an open meeting to chat about the look and feel of the proposed lodge and to discuss a plan of action.
We hope also to attract masons and adults of other youth organisations to join in (such as Boys Brigade and St. Johns cadet leaders.)
We are suggesting proposing:-
- To wear the KLA Scarf (necker)
- Revise the lodge Bylaws to meet four times a year (one of which will be the Installation)
- Reduce membership fees accordingly
- A meeting in a youth Organisation Uniform in April (St. Georges Day)
- Encourage partners etc to attend one Festive Board per annum
- Theme the Festive Board with Scout style meal and atmosphere
- Become members of the Kindred Lodges Association (www.kla.org.uk)
- Devise other activities / visits outside of the lodge meetings
- Generally, have fun and freemasonry
