Freemasons from across the Western Area once again showed their support for Bolton Sea Cadets at the unit’s annual Awards Evening, celebrating another year of outstanding achievement and service.
The event highlighted the remarkable dedication of the cadets and their adult volunteers, whose commitment to teamwork, leadership, and personal growth continues to make a real impact in the local community.
Bolton Sea Cadets aims to give young people experiences that help them grow into the person they aspire to be, in a safe and encouraging environment. Through adventure, teamwork, and responsibility, cadets develop values such as respect, confidence, self-discipline, and loyalty — qualities that strongly resonate with Freemasonry’s own principles.
The evening served as a proud reminder of the strong connection between Freemasonry and youth organisations like the Sea Cadets, with many local Masons continuing to show their support for the important work being done to shape the next generation.
