On Friday the 10th of May, Right Worshipful Brother Robert Frankl was Installed as the Worshipful Master of his own lodge, Lodge of Fortitude no.64, at Manchester Hall.

Adding to the grandeur of this occasion, the brethren were honoured to have Most Worshipful Brother Jonathan Spence, the Pro Grand Master of the United Grand Lodge of England, as their esteemed guest of honour. His presence truly elevated the event and filled the lodge room with a sense of pride and excitement.

The lodge was opened in due form by the Worshipful Master, Right Worshipful Brother Stephen Blank. The minutes from the previous meeting were approved, and then Most Worshipful Brother Spence was welcomed into the lodge room by the brethren, who offered him the appropriate salutations.

The Worshipful Master conducted the installation ceremony in an accomplished manner, and Bro Warwick R Davenport performed the address to the Master with his usual aplomb. Most Worshipful Brother Spence then delivered the Address to the Brethren.

There being no further business, Right Worshipful Brother Frankl closed the lodge.

The brethren assembled for a drinks reception in the museum room and enjoyed a fabulous meal at the festive board.

Most Worshipful Brother Spence responded at the festive board and expressed his delight at being invited to the meeting and his fondness for the Masonic Province of East Lancashire.

The festive board concluded, and the brethren parted in harmony after having enjoyed a fantastic meeting in the lodge room and superb fayre and company at the festive board.
